Ethiopian Official expeled


Gunman who opened fire at peaceful protestors at the Ethiopian Embassy in Washington DC expelled from the U.S.

Solomon Tadesse Gebregziabher also known as “Weyen” in his nom de guerre, and purported to be the head of security at the embassy was caught on video firing at unarmed group of Ethiopians who were protesting the recent massacres in the Ogaden and Gambella regions of Ethiopia.
The US Secret Service was called to the embassy and promptly took the gunman into custody. The shooting that took place on September 29, 2014 at the Ethiopian Embassy about four miles from the White House was widely covered by international media as well as local television and newspapers such as Reuters, AP, AFP, NBC and The Washington Post.
The Ethiopian Satellite Television Service (ESAT) has now confirmed that the gunman was expelled from the United States on October1, 2014. Reporters from ESAT were on hand at Dulles International Airport when the gunman boarded an Ethiopian Airlines (EAL) flight to Addis Ababa.
