Unjust and Illegal sanctions of the UN against Eritrea

By Yebio Michael (Dhi)

The unjust and illegal sanction of the UN against Eritrea should be condemned by all peace Loving people of the world community. It is shameful for the UN to be an extension of the evil hands of the Wayane regime and its US masters. The UN mission is supposed to be to promote peace, justice and to eliminate all factors that contribute to human suffering such as poverty, hanger and lack of shelter. They have been derailed by the US special interest group who even don’t care if they cause damage to the interest of the Unitd Stats people as long as their evil group interest is met. The peace loving and civilised members of the world community have the responsibility to bring the UN back on track and make it carry its intended responsibilities. Let’s join hands and fight for justice!

Condemning a country, government and people who are working very hard to realise the intended UN vision is shameful, unjust and illegal. Eritrean government should be praised for the great relative achievements it scored. With small resources, they have scored significant success in solving the problems facing the Eritrean people.

The excuses given by the US and its allies that led to the UN sanction against Eritrea is a US and its allies fabricated lies that can not even confuse a person with basic intelligence. How can Eritrea with small resources and military sophistication supply the Somali free dome fighters with money and weapons? Eritrea is not one of those rich countries that can give money to Somalis that can make a significant difference in their operation. How can Eritrea supply weapons to Somalis when it doesn’t even have any border that can allow it to transport weapons to Somalia? How can Eritrea evade the sophisticated US and French military servalince system and supply weapons to Somalis by air and sea? This is not hard to understand by any person with basic intelligence. It is an insult to the intelligence of the world community.

Before the US designed Ethiopian invasion of Somalia, we heard the existence of 2000 Eritrean soldiers in Somalia. It turned out to be a clearly fabricated lie. Out of desperation, the Wayane regime and their masters the CIA try to use Aljazeera’s journalist to do their dirty work by showing dead Wayane soldiers as Eritrean soldiers to convince the world the presence of Eritrean soldiers but this was also proved to be a fabricated lie.

The root causes of misery in the horn of Africa are the misguided US policy and the Ethiopian regime (Wayan). The defamation campaign they are conducting against Eritrea is a diversionary tactic to cover up their crimes and evil acts. The world should focus on the real issues here. The real issues in this region are the sovereign Eritrean land taken by Ethiopian regime and the crimes committed by the Ethiopian regime against the Eritrean people, Somali people and the Ethiopian people. The US need to learn from its mistakes. It is not in the interest of the US to destabilise Eritrea. Eritrea is one the best friends the US can have in this region, providing there is mutual respect and interest. Eritrea has culturally and politically civilised people and government.
